Sweet costume Mom, thanks!

What sound does a zebra make?

Lindsey was a zebra for Halloween.  We went to HP to trick-or-treat, and then up to the Parker's for a slumber party with Elsinore, Ab, Steve, and Kelli.  I don't think Lindsey understood the trick-or-treat concept but she did understand quite quickly that when you are 16 months old, it perfectly acceptable to pull fist-fulls of candy out of the bowl at once.

Fall Colors

I worked from home on Monday.  Chris and Lindsey were hanging out around the house.  During a work break we played out in the front yard in all the beautiful yellow leaves.

Sandpoint, Idaho and the Grain Mill

We visited Sandpoint, Idaho on our way to and from Libby, Montana where we attend cousin Mike Marrozzo's service.  We found a local roasting company in Sandpoint, and across from the coffee shop was a fabulous old Grain Mill building that had been converted to a climbing gym.   We played on the former loading dock and Chris took some photos.

16 months

She's 16 months old already.  She runs, climbs, slides, and swings.  She says mama, dada, duck (sounds like truck), shoe, fish, and a few other words.  She likes to be outside in the evening hours instead of inside.  She enjoys playing with other kids and I think she's fond of us as well.  But most of all, she loves dogs and dirt.

Little baby in a box

She's not all that little anymore.  However, Chris found a small box that Lindsey fits perfectly into.  She loves to crawl in and hang out, or have one of us drag her around on the wood floor.

Snacks

The girl loves to eat, especially snack food that can easily be stuffed into her mouth in large quantities at one time.  I love this picture.

Tractors or trucks?

Lindsey has a few words she uses on a regular basis.  One of them is "truck".  Everytime we see anything that resembles a truck or a moving vehicle that's loud, she shouts "truck".  There are some antique tractors at the Botanical Garden Fall Festival.  She was pretty excited about sitting on the seat of this "truck".

Hair Suits

Aunt Jana made Elsi and Olivia hair suits to sport at the BAM Hair Suit Parade.  Jana modified Olivia's "olive" costume for Lindsey by adding some fringe.  There's some confusion on behalf of all 3 little ones, but never mind because they are so freaking cute.

Ketchum ~ 6 yr Anniversary

We visited Ketchum for our 6th wedding anniversary weekend.  Dave and Barb came along to help with Lindsey while Chris and I spent sometime mountain biking on the local trails.  We went on a family day hike up on Galena Pass.

I never imagined 6 years later that we'd have such a wonderful little treasure like Lindsey.  We are lucky parents.  Thanks for being such a joy in all of our lives.
