Grandpa Jim

Grandpa Jim loves his little Lindsey Kate.  Dad and Sandee visited for a couple of days in January.  Lindsey and Dad got reaquainted pretty quickly.  I love these pics.  Thanks for being such a special Grandpa! 
 

 

 

Surf Lesson

John and I took a surf lesson the last day we were in Kauai.  I wish I would have taken one the first day we arrived.  It was so much fun, even on 1 ft. waves.

Kate and Elena's favorite vacation ritual was our evening walks to the beach with mocktails and cocktails.  I have no idea where Kate gets her moves.  I'm certain they don't come from her mother.

Lindsey learned a few new words in Hawaii. "Kate" was easy, "Elena" was a little harder to enunciate and took a week to master, "friends" was somewhere in between.   I look back at these pictures from last month and think about what wonderful friends we have.  We became friends with John and Adrienne 15 years ago, now our girls are friends.  We love you guys!

We didn't know how we would fare but it was a smashing success!  Our 3rd day in Hawaii we sea kayaked up a river and hiked into a water fall.  The girls loved it, and us parents didn't mind...:)
