Lindsey is 2!!!

Decorating cupcake in kitty cat pajamas!
Little Lindsey Kate is now two.  These pictures are from a birthday party we hosted on June 15th in the backyard.  The morning started out with cupcake decorating with Mom, watersports with friends, princess pinata, cupcakes, presents, and tuts.

Lindsey likes to sing "Happy Birthday" to Roxie.  Roxie is Grandma Barb and Grandpa Dave's less than 10 pound dog which Lindsey adores.  We talked about singing Happy Birthday to Lindsey and the fact that it was Lindsey's birthday party.  But its still Roxie's birthday at our house and don't expect it to change anytime soon.

The past few months have been great fun as Lindsey learned to speak sentences, found her sense of humor, creativity, and opinions.  Being Lindsey's parent is lots of fun and I think the two's will provide endless entertainment for our house.

Flower power

Uncle Ted and Aunt Lisa were married last weekend in lovely ceremony at Lisa's parent's home in Atherton, CA.  Lindsey was a flower girl with Lisa's other two nieces Amelia and Audrey.  The dress rehearsal was a disaster, pictures were a vast improvement, they nailed the ceremony (although I don't have pics to post yet).  Big thanks to Amelia for leading the little girls down the aisle.  Too freaking cute!
Dress rehearsal - not so sure about this but the dresses are cool

San Francisco and the cable car

We visited San Franciso last week for a couple of days.  I attended a business conference, Lindsey and Dad toured the City, and we snuck in a ride on the cable car.

Bike+ sled

Lindsey loves her bike.  She especially likes to ride her bike while pulling the snow sled.  Admittedly, the sled is a bit of a nuisance around the house.  So much that Chris was going to throw it away.  Instead of throwing it away, I hid it from Lindsey but she found it by looking out our bedroom window and noticing it was in the sunken patio in the back yard.  I find it so facinating to see what sorts of things Lindsey is fond of.  The sled definitely gets a significant amount of her affection.

Kylee's 5th birthday

We went to Kylee's 5th birthday party.  There were lots of big girls, pinata, and trampoline.  Great Aunt Diane was in town for a 10 day stay.  What a treat!

Mother's Day 2013

We went for a bike ride on the greenbelt and ran into the Boise Fire Dive Team.
Chris and Lindsey played in the boat.  We spent the rest of the day on the back porch playing in the pool and enjoying family time.
