4th of July at Redfish and Stanley

We took the tent trailer to Redfish.  Chris reserved a lovely camp site.  The views from the site were fabulous.  We rented a canoe, rode bikes, hiked, swam, and played at the playground in Stanley.

One of Lindsey's recent quotes "I like my dad".  You can see it in her face here.

Visit from Kel and Olivier

Kel reading to Elsinore and Lindsey
Visits from Kelli and Olivier are the best.  They arrive in late June.  Kelli stayed for over a month, Olivier stayed for a couple of weeks.   They both love the little girls and plan fun outings for all of us who otherwise can't seem to get it together on our own.  Thanks for the great talks, laughs, and climbs.  We love you guys and can't wait for you to be Boise residents!

Smores in the City of Rocks - no shoes and a campfire.  Not sure what we were thinking...

Lindsey loves Elsi and whatever Elsi does, Lindsey wants to do.
Elsi is excited about climbing, Lindsey is excited about snacks.
Elsi in the harness and on the rope with Uncle Oliver and mama Abbie!

Climb on!!!

More 2nd b-day pics

I think I've talked about Roxie in some of my previous postings.  I'm not sure how many actual pictures of Roxie and Lindsey have made it on the blog.  I love love love this one of the two of them on Lindsey's actual birthday, June 20th.

Park Center Montessori - week 1

Day 1

A couple weeks ago, Lindsey transitioned from Giraffe Laugh to Park Center Montessori.  These pictures we taken on our front porch on Day 1 and 2.  Her teacher is Ms. Rose who many parents refer to as the baby whisperer.  She's a wonderful lady who talks softly and kindly to everyone.  Lindsey seems to love her new class and teacher.

Mommy, Daddy, I want a doggie

Luke lives next door.  He is an obnoxious Veeshla who has won Lindsey's heart.  Luke is so obnoxious that several years ago I refused to dog sit anymore because he doesn't even know how to walk on a leash.  Lindsey sings Luke happy birthday, gives him kisses, and soft pets.  It won't be long before we hear "Mommy, Daddy, I need a dog."  Enough said.

Hang Time

Some time ago, Chris taught Lindsey how to swing on the bars under our island.  She used to just hang with her feet on the ground and say "whoa whoa"!  Now she's in a full swing, both feet off the ground, and screaming with delight.  Hilarious.
