Foothills Hike

We love taking Lindsey for walks in the foothills just above our house. We enjoyed a nice post-Christmas hike with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sandee.

Christmas

I never would have thought Christmas would be this much fun at 6 months. We were taken back by how much Lindsey enjoyed the morning, her presents, and hanging out. Although Chris will never admit to being "grown up", we both agree that Christmas with kids makes the holiday very fun and memorable.

Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sandee

Lindsey hasn't had the opportunity to spend much time with Grandpa Jim or Grandma Sandee since she was born. They visited for Lindsey's first Christmas and the three of them became fast friends. It such a pleasure to watch the generations enjoy and get to know one another.

Winter Garden a Glow

Pre-Christmas visit to Winter Garden a Glow with the cousins! It was cold but spirits were warm and happy!

I guess we can be friends

Jinx likes several things about Lindsey (or Lindsey's things), particularly trying to weasel his way onto one of the many beautiful blankets or quilts we've received as gifts. Fortunately for Jinx, Lindsey isn't quite mobile enough to tug and pull at his ears, paws, or other extremities. I see Jinx and Lindsey's relationship changing in the near future as Jinx will learn to tolerate an annoying toddler in exchange for treats falling from the high chair. Jinx has no idea how wonderful his life is about to come!

Nana visits in December

Nana visited Lindsey again in December.  We visited the Bown Crossing Christmas market on a beautiful sunny December day. Very fun times for all three of us!

Christmas Treasures

Lindsey is a very lucky granddaughter. Grandma Barb and Nana made Lindsey a lovely stocking. Lindsey's Great Aunt Lynn Dille made Lindsey a Christmas t-shirt that says "ho ho ho". Good thing there's some craftiness in Lindsey's genes somewhere! Thanks so much for the thoughful pre-Christmas gifts.
